Carleen enjoys attending regional conventions & exhibits and has painted with a number of nationally recognized artists. She is a Board member of Artists United, Inc., a member of the Atlanta Artists Center, the Dunwoody Fine Arts Association, the Society of Decorative Painters and the Portraits Society of America. Carleen is a member of the Women's Commerce Club and has served on the Board of Directors for the Cobb County Habitat for Humanity.
Carleen has also donated paintings to support the fundraising efforts of the Atlanta Interfaith AIDS Network, the Kiwanis Club, the Kennesaw State University Foundation, the Mt. Bethel Christian Academy, the Scottish Rite Children's Hospital and YWCA.
As an avid animal rights supporter, a portion of all pet portrait sales is donated to the care and protection of animals.
